Mosaic was a passion project for our Creative Director, Monica. We started by developing a visual look and feel for the site, opting to keep the colors neutral and the typography bold so as not to get in the way of the photography that the site highlights. From there, we crafted each page to be visually stunning, encourage exploration around the site, and educate users about this one-of-a-kind product.

This project posed a unique challenge in that we couldn't show the product in its entirety, to keep it from being reversed engineered. Our answer was to max out Shopify's native functionality on product detail pages, leveraging metafields for descriptive words, color palettes, and textural images to ensure that each PDP displays as much of the collection vibe as possible and describes verbally what we couldn't show visually.

The result is an understated yet hard-working site that helps creatives and businesses save time and money by finding free stock imagery fast.
